Our Turkey experts Ayse and Alex take you to one of the most beautiful flying areas in Turkey. – Ören Milas in the Gulf of Gökova.
From the large artificial grass launch site, you take off directly over the marina and the lagoon. The massif of the “sleeping woman” now invites you to an extensive soaring tour.
“Flying into the blue” in the truest sense of the word, because the horizon line blurs with the sea and can hardly be distinguished from it.
You decide how the flight should continue. Just stay up in the upwind band of the 500m high soaring edge, or enjoy the calmer conditions over the lagoon.
If you walk up you’ll pass ancient sites along the way on your Hike&Fly.
You’ll have a great time in the tranquil fishing village of Ören, which, despite the impressive conditions for paragliding, has so far been spared the big paragliding hustle and bustle.
We stay at the Hotel Miss Karya – a small family hotel with a great spirit that takes great care of its guests. Our accommodation is only 100 metres from the beach and a 3-minute walk from the landing site.
In short: a relaxing week with lots of time in the air, sun and beach. There is hardly a better way to escape the winter grim weather.
In the evening, we will have dinnert in one of the small fish restaurants on the beach. These are often runed directly by the families of local fishermen. You can’t eat any closer to the source of fresh fish. Of course, there is always a choice of local meat or vegetarian dishes.
